Zakir Naik heads Peace TV visit to Islamic Bank of Britain PDF Print E-mail

Islamic Bank of Britain (IBB) warmly welcomed the Management team of Peace TV including its founder, Dr Zakir Naik, the renowned international orator on Islam and Comparative Religion, to its Small Heath branch in Birmingham on Tuesday 29th July 2008.  The visit was arranged to mark the relationship between Islamic Bank of Britain and Peace TV over the past year.   IBB provides the channel with banking services and solutions for the channel’s customer donations operations.  

Peace TV is aired worldwide in over 200 countries and is a respected global media outlet with the objective of presenting Islam and removing the misconceptions that are held about it, based on the Qur’an and Hadith, Peace TV provides its viewers with state-of-the-art TV programmes that promote inter-faith dialogue, common teachings of scriptures of major religions and world peace.

Dr. Zakir is popular for his critical analysis and convincing answers to challenging questions posed by audiences after his public talks.  He appears regularly on Peace TV and on many other international television channels worldwide.  He has also authored books on Islam and Comparative Religion.

Sultan Choudhury, commercial director at IBB commented, “We are really pleased to welcome Peace TV to IBB’s Small Heath branch in Birmingham today.  Peace TV reaches out to Muslims across the UK and helps them to understand their faith better – its excellent programmes play a vital role in helping both Muslims and non-Muslims learn more about all aspects of Islam.”

As awareness of Islamic Banking grows in the UK, this visit from Dr Naik and Peace TV plays an important role in further promoting its understanding which will help British Muslims realise how easily Islamic banking can fit into their lives, and by following the Islamic path they are also following the ethical path.”

As well as meeting staff and customers of the IBB branch, Dr Zakir Naik also received a presentation from Imran Pasha, Head of Branch Network at IBB.
