Israeli officials
have admitted that they have recently constructed a synagogue under the Al-Aqsa
Mosque site in Al-Quds.
The Zionist officials added that the synagogue has
been built near the southern wall of Al-Haram al-Qudsi al-Sharif (Al-Aqsa
Mosque), about 97 meters from Dome of the Rock (Qubbat As-Sakhrah). It
was inaugurated in mid September after the completion of some repair operations which
were financed by the Jews in Ukrain
They have stated that the 431-meter
southern wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque is a part of the western side of the Jewish
claimed synagogue. Therefore it is under the Israeli control and they are free
to make any decisions about the region.
According to some pictures, this
synagogue is exactly located under Bab al-salsaleh, one of the doors of the
mosque. In a response to this Israelis' act, the Al-Aqsa institute has
announced that it is well aware of the existence of many other synagogues under
the site of Al-Aqsa Mosque adding that it re-inforces their claims that the Israelis
have been digging under Al-Aqsa without consent, something which the Israeli's have previously denied.
