Dear Editor Assalaamu Alaikum, I have recently returned from the Earthquake regions of Pakistan and Kashmir. The whole trip was very distressing and shocking especially as I am not a an ethnic Pakistani Muslim. I travelled as part of a team of medical doctors who volunteered to help those in need. Now that I have returned, I am very surprised and hurt to see that with the exception of a few, many Muslims in the UK have forgotten about their Brothers and Sisters in Pakistan. I urge the readers of Islamic Times to continue their support whichever way they can towards the homeless of Pakistan and to urge other s in authority not to forget.
