The Islamic Human Rights Commission is holding its fourth annual Islamophobia Awards on Saturday, December 9. It will be held in the Islamic Centre of England, Maida Vale, London. If you want to nominate an Islamophobe or vote for existing candidates, please visit: www.ihrc.org.uk/islamophobia

The Ceremony

The programme starts at 6.30pm and includes a full three course dinner, a comedy set, superlative singing from the tavashih group, Nurul Mustaafa, as well as the awards ceremony. Awards will be presented to Islamophobes from across the globe. Nominations and winners will be decided by ordinary members of the public via an online vote. On a more serious note, positive awards will be presented to those who have combated Islamophobia and prejudice, often at great cost to themselves. The Awards have been extremely successful with community members and activists from different backgrounds coming together to nominate the most Islamophobic personalities of the year.
