Q. What must I do whilst preparing for Eid ul Fitr Salaah?

A. It is preferred to make Ghusl (take a bath), wear one’s best clothes and for me, to apply perfume before going for Salaah tul Eid. Hadhrat ibn Al-Qayyim (Radi Allah Anho) said, “The Holy Prophet, Hadhrat Muhammad-ur Rasullullaah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) used to wear His best clothes which He had reserved for the Eidain and Jumu’ah.”
