Assalaamu alaikum

For the last few years, whenever a situation arose in the Middle East, one phrase has always echoed in my mind after I heard it on television in 2003. “Caring about the Middle East is merely a reflection of my deep sense of moral responsibility as a Briton for the dabblings in the region by irresponsible, greedy and incompetent officials over many years.”

This was from a man who without any self gratification has always highlighted the injustices towards the middle eastern people and who as far as I am aware, has never waivered in his beliefs and ethics. Who am I talking about? George Galloway of course.

I wanted your readers to be made aware of his spectacular radio programme which I came across recently whilst travelling back from the Islam Expo event in London. The courage of George Galloway is imeasurable as he has taken on the might of the American and British Imperialists and come out without a scratch.

This is also a reflection of some of the decent people that exist in this country and the residents of Bethnal Green and Bow should be proud to have him as their MP. It is only a shame that there are not more people like George Galloway and the Muslim Leaders around the world should feel a great sense of embarrassment in his presence as they live in their luxury buildings and eat the best food whilst fellow Muslim citizens starve or are being slaughtered by oppressive regimes around the World.
