Dear Editor, Assalaamu alaikum,

Islamic Times has truly found a place in the heart of my family and friends. You had a small section highlighting the islamic perspective on voting during elections, a couple of issues ago. After thinking about it a lot and discussing this with my family, I would just like to inform you that 4 members of my family made a conscious decision not to vote in the recent elections, despite there being "muslim candidates" standing.

May Allah (swt) reward you and always guide you to stay on the right path.
