Dear Editor Assalamu alaikum.
I just happened to see a copy of Islamic Times December issue. The content and coverage of issues are impressive, informative, contemporary and relevant. You have touched upon the contributions and achievements of young Muslims. I would however like to see more articles and discussions on issues affecting young people of both genders. We can do a great service to the Ummah if only it could assist the Ummah to come out of their "reactive mode" and make them more proactive in addressing issues affecting all of us. Also, Muslims need to throw away the "blame culture" (blaming others for our short comings) and encourage everyone to take responsibility for it's own state of affairs. For surely we have to take collective responsibility and face the challenges of time constructively and positively.
